Job Description for 3rd Party Plan Administrator - Purchasing & Trade Relations

We are recruiting a 3rd Party Plan Administrator in Brockton, MA to be responsible for implementing pharmacy benefit programs according to executed contracts. Interact with appropriate departments to ensure integrity of third party plan information. Provide pharmacy operations support and communicate plan. Assist with special projects and ad hoc assignments as needed:

Essential Functions:

* Manage all phases of the third party plan implementation cycle including plan set-up, testing, and compliance
* Interact with third party agencies and processors. Obtain information for plan set-up and maintenance.
* Coordinate the set-up new plans or plan billing and edit changes in pharmacy practice system.
* Create and execute test plans and clearly document all results
* Provide support and resolution to pharmacy operations inquiries Work with pharmacy software system, claims processors, switch, store support, and IT to resolve issues.
* Create create and test NCPDP HIPAA processor set-ups and change existing set-ups that coincide with NCPDP telecom standard and plan payor sheets.
* Ensure that all programs are coded accurately to mitigate third party rejections
* Assist in developing and revising plan procedures and communicate to affected parties
* Prepare written communication outlining plan parameters and pharmacy operations processing procedures
* Performs other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.
* 1+ years experience in managed care or related field
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledge of claims processing system or pharmacy practice system.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to prioritize accordingly
* Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proficient in all Microsoft office products.
