Job: Assistant Teacher
Jobing Description
Under the direction of the Lead Teacher, assist and design curriculum and plan and implement activities that enhance the social, physical, emotional and intellectual development of children in the program. Arrange and maintain space for group activities. Track food and supplies. Prepare meals for children and chaperon field trips.
Victory Programs is celebrating 35 years of providing innovative services to individuals and their families who are affected by alcoholism and addiction and who have psychiatric and medical problems, especially AIDS/HIV disease. We promote the successful reintegration of individuals into their communities through the achievement of long-term sobriety, the rebuilding of family systems, and stabilizing factors such as housing, holistic healthcare, employment and community affiliations.
Monday - Friday, 12:30pm - 5:30pm (25 Hours)
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Experience working in a childcare environment
* Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs
* Bi-lingual is preferred
* Current TB assessment and current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification
* Proficient computer skills
