Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Manages and negotiates procurements of low to moderate value, risk and complexity. Activities include developing and managing a capable supply base, requesting and analyzing quotations, negotiating and administering purchasing orders and contracts with outside suppliers. Incumbent will interface extensively with outside suppliers and internal organizations (e.g., Engineering, Project Management, Contracting, Finance, Legal). Basic negotiation and price analysis skills required. Basic analytical skills and Supply Management understanding required. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ensures compliance with applicable laws/regulation and company policies and procedures. Participates in Supplier Review Boards (SRB) activities.

Education and Experience
A minimum of Bachelors or the equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum 2 years of directly related experience is preferred.

Applicant must be a US Citizen.

Proficiency in standard desktop software, such as MS word, Excel, Power Point. Must be intimately familiar with FAR, DFAR, cost/price analysis, government contract vehicles, & contracting guidelines. Familiarity with international business & knowledge of automated procurement and finance systems desired. General knowledge in ERP.
