9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

CALL CENTER REPRESENTATIVE, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU), to deliver outstanding member services as part of a dynamic and growing team. Will answer all incoming calls/inquiries in accordance with departmental standards, addressing member issues and inquiries in a professional and timely manner; open new memberships; open, close, and/or add products and services to existing accounts, i.e., checking, savings, overdraft protection options, and insurance; troubleshoot, research, and solve member issues such as e-Branch and touch tone teller PIN resets, balance variances, electronic service problems, etc.; perform general account maintenance; and process account transfers, payments, and stop payments. The MIT Federal Credit Union is a cooperative, not-for-profit organization with an exclusive field of membership and a 72 year relationship with MIT.

REQUIREMENTS: a minimum of one year of experience in a credit union, bank, the financial industry, or in a call center or other telephone customer service function; a high school diploma or its equivalent; excellent telephone skills including the ability to actively listen and effectively manage difficult interactions with members in a professional and courteous manner; strong customer service and problem solving skills; excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask; attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills; and working knowledge of computer software programs including MS Word and Excel.
