Westfield Electroplating is a growing aerospace company with a steady and stable history providing great job security in today's unstable environment. We provide services to many business sectors including military, medical, aviation, commercial, electronics, and government.
We are looking for Chemical Handler to perform various material handling tasks related to the ongoing maintenance of our plating solutions. The job would involve working with fork trucks, pallet jacks, drum carts and other bulk material handling equipment. The materials being worked with will range from mild soap solution to strong acids and caustic solutions that must be handled with appropriate care and protection to avoid injury. A Chemical Handler is a key member of our laboratory staff that is part of the larger quality control department. It is the Chemical Handlers job to assure that additions and cuts are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
A successful applicant should have strong organizational skills. Have the ability to communicate in English both written and verbal. Be able to make intelligent decisions on the fly. Be able to adjust activities to meet department demands. Be able to work independently without constant supervision. Be able to work smart, safe and efficient. Be dependable and on time every day.
The scheduled hours are from 3:00pm to 11:00 pm Monday thru Friday.
