Description

Nursefinders, a division of AMN Healthcare, is actively seeking a Clinical Director to oversee a prestigious hospital in NYC area.

Summary:

As part of our Managed Service Provider initiative, the Clinical Director is responsible for risk management with regards to nurses and other healthcare professionals on contract within the company at a particular facility. Specifically, the Clinical Director problem solves for both clinical and behavioral situations that arise during the assignment, evaluates work references, and continually monitors workplace events for those which could increase the company s risk, intervening and taking appropriate action where necessary. Additionally, the Clinical Director will facilitate training and education for nurses to prepare them for their roles.

As part of the Client Services Team, the Clinical Director builds relationships with nursing management at these prestigious hospitals and helps ensure that we are providing only the best in education, quality and care.

EDUCATION:

*RN degree with active license.

EXPERIENCE:

* 1 3 years experience in a management position.

* 3 5 years experience in acute care nursing setting.

* Experience in medical field quality assurance; risk management preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Registered Nurse

* Must have Clinical Director/Management experience at large hospital facility.

* Prior clinical training and education experience.

* Management experience managing multiple nursing staff

* Excellent Communication Skills

* Problem Solver
