Job Description

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Project Engineer in the Water Resources Group in our Chelmsford, MA office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of civil or environmental engineering and Project Management experience in stormwater drainage design and modeling, water quality and quantity impacts of development, and watershed management The successful candidate will be self-motivated and an effective communicator with experience on a variety of private and public projects. The successful candidate will also possess (or be able to apply for) Professional Engineer license.

Duties/Responsibilities

Plan, organize and co-ordinate work on multiple projects

Design calculations, senior technical reviews

Preparation of studies and reports

Proposal preparation

Technical specification preparation and review

Site visits/inspections

Review drawings

Investigate/gather information to solve problems

Liaison with clients

Qualifications

P.E. with 5-8 years of relevant experience

Strong verbal and written communicator

Ability to work well in a team environment and in a fast paced environment

A strong consulting background with progressive pattern of increased responsibility

An understanding of stormwater regulations and policy in New England is very desirable.
