ARCADIS's Site Evaluation and Remediation Group is seeking high performing, top-quality, candidates as an Environmental Scientist with a background in Geology, or Environmental Science to support a growing base of projects in our Braintree, MA location. This position offers an opportunity to learn about a wide variety of environmental projects, work with a great team, and join a successful growing organization with a reputation for high quality work and top notch employees

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Phase I and Phase II ESAs
* ACM sampling and reporting
* Air monitoring
* Following health and safety procedures
* Health and Safety audits
* Recording field notes
* Soil and groundwater remediation
* Installation of soil borings and monitoring wells
* Groundwater and soil sampling
* Operation of various technical instrumentation for data collection, analysis and interpretation
* Site inspection

Office work consists of technical report writing, data analysis, and data tabulation, as well as cost estimating and regulatory file review. Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be self motivated, can work in all weather conditions and have the ability to work independently. OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER training preferred and previous field sampling a plus.

No relocation or candidate travel reimbursement is available for this position.

Basic and Required Qualifications:
* Minimum years of experience: 1-3
* Education required: BS degree in Geology or Environmental Science
* Registrations/Certifications required: none
* Skills required: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; excellent oral and written communication skills.

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:
* Education preferred: BS degree in Geology or Environmental Science
* Registrations/Certifications preferred: OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER
* Years experience preferred: 1-3
* Skills preferred: Previous consulting and field sampling experience.

* This position does require travel. Travel amount is negligible.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does not manage others.
