Job Description

Overall responsibility:

Troubleshoots, repairs, calibrates and provides overall technical support of machinery and process control equipment in a large automated dairy facility. Involved with the maintenance, installation and retrofit of industrial equipment. Works with in house and outside engineering to achieve objectives.

Key areas of responsibility:

PLC programming and modification of programs for new and existing equipment such as but not limited to pumps, heat exchanges, conveyors, packaging and filling machinery,

Develops and modifies HMIs and SCADA packages

Sets up new and changes out existing VFDs and other instrumentation (i.e., pressure sensors, flow meters.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

PLC Programming (Allen Bradley, Rockwell)

HMI and SCADA programming (FactoryTalk View, Wonderware)

Process Control

Setup and control of VFDs

Strong industrial electrical knowledge

Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Rslogix, PLC5, SLC,) AutoCAD & Wonderware a plus

Blueprint and electrical schematic reading and strong electrical troubleshooting techniques

Use of digital multimeters

Basic Pneumatics / Hydraulics

Knowledge various communication networks and their installation

Able to document work performed by drawings, manuals and other forms of documentation

Electrician s license and, or degree in manufacturing or engineering disciplines preferred. Non degreed or non licensed candidates with substantial experience who possess the listed qualifications will be considered as well.
