NEAVS is seeking a Managing Director to supervise, coordinate, and implement operations in its Boston office. The position reports to the Executive Director and supervises staff in the areas of development, member services, communications, finance and administration. Salary range $60-70,000/yr FT; excellent benefits; and long term potential.
The ideal candidate is experienced in not-for profit management, development and communications; is organized and thrives in a multi-tasking role; can provide inspirational leadership; responds creatively and efficiently to assigned responsibilities as well as being a self-motivator; has a commitment to animal welfare and/or related social justice issues; excellent writing skills; a degree in a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of related experience.
