Description:
AppSecInc. is seeking Regional Sales Managers (RSM) for various territories in US commercial and Federal sales and throughout Europe. The successful candidate will develop and manage customer relationships that lead to the sale of AppSecInc Products and services. The RSM has total responsibility for all customers and business partners in the territory. The successful RSM works closely with his Inside Sales counterpart, field Systems Engineers, Product line specialist and other company resources to achieve ultimate customer satisfaction, and exceed quota in the territory.
The Focus of the RSM is to secure new business defined as new customers or add-on business in the installed base. The RSM has ultimate responsibility and accountability for the success of the territory. The RSM will also assist their inside sales counterpart to secure new business and insure the renewal and growth of subscription licenses and maintenance renewals.
Requirements:
* Relevant Experience At least 10 years of field sales experience in the target territory, along with inside sales experience. Enterprise security software experience required with a successful track record selling to C level executives both direct and with business partners. Preference for a history of running a territory as the "business quarterback" and operating in a start-up or early stage company environment; self starter with strong territory development skills with ultimate accountability for his/her customer's success and satisfaction. The candidate must have a solid track record of quota attainment and a history of loyalty and company longevity.
* Technically Capable Must be capable of articulating the AppSecInc value proposition in context with the broader enterprise security eco-system of the target customer base in territory and thoroughly understand the respect the needs and intent of the customer.
