We're looking for a Part-Time RN Health Care Consultant/Corporate Reimbursement Nurse to join the Health Care team in our Boston office.
This position is responsible for providing clinical reimbursement assistance and education to optimize reimbursement and enhance regulatory compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consulting Responsibilities
* Assist clients with questions or concerns.
* Research various topics as necessary for clients or CliftonLarsonAllen personnel
* Special projects as assigned.
Clinical/Operational Responsibilities
* Client educational assistance in-house and at client sites.
* Proficient with Medicare/PPS and/or State survey process
* Proficient with Medicare (SNF s) MDS s and/or (Home Health) OASIS and/or Massachusetts Medicaid MMQ s clinical reimbursement systems.
Administrative Responsibilities
* Monitor chargeable time.
* When requested, prepare a current billing memorandum and comparison to budgeted time for approval by Engagement Principal.
Communication
* Maintain ongoing communication (written & verbal) with clients.
* Communicate with the Engagement Principal regarding engagement status, client problems, findings, and recommendations
Development Responsibilities
* Learn the firm's philosophy, policies, procedures, and practices as they relate to compilations, reviews, and bookkeeping services.
* Develop full knowledge of firm s services and develop the ability to recognize opportunities.
* Exhibit high standards of professional and social ethics.
Education and/or Experience
* Registered Nurse. BS or MS preferred, or equivalent work experience. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator experience a plus.
* Minimum of 5 years experience in the Senior Living industry.
* Prior experience as Medicare MDS, Medicaid MMQ coordinator, reimbursement nurse, corporate office multi-facility, and/or nursing management a plus.
* AANAC certified or eligible for certification.
* Solid math and analytical skills, and ability to perform tasks with attention to detail.
* Strong organization and time management skills.
* Excellent client service orientation.
* Self-starter; aptitude to identify a problem and propose a solution to client / firm team lead.
* Can identify and remedy challenging personalities in order to achieve successful conclusion to a task Travel
* Must have car and valid driver s license. Will be working primarily at clients offices located in Massachusetts (80%). Some multi-state travel required (20%).
