Summary of Duties and Responsibilities

Hologic provides a comprehensive suite of technologies with products for mammography and breast biopsy, radiation treatment for early-stage breast cancer, cervical cancer screening, and treatment for menorrhagia, osteoporosis assessment, preterm birth risk assessment, and mini C-arm for extremity imaging.
The Temporary Payroll Associate is responsible to assist in the processing of bi-weekly and stock option payrolls, and process journal entries for month-end accounting closes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work in a team to process full cycle payroll for 3,000 employees in the US and Canada (including multiple states and provinces)
Analyze and process hours through ADP eTime system
Process all payroll changes/updates including employee stock exercises, commissions, disability payments, etc.
Audit various payroll reports for accuracy and SOX compliance
Transmit and Receive payroll from ADP
File employee information and ADP reports
Create journal entries for payroll activity
Reconcile payroll GL accounts
Act as back-up for the other payroll associates
Assist in year-end W2 preparation, fringe benefit processing
Communicate with employees on payroll issues and respond to inquiries on payroll email inbox
Run bi-weekly payroll reports for Human Resources and various customers
Review/Approve ADP invoices
Process daily mail (open, distribute and act on letters from the states that need to be forwarded to ADP)
Research and respond to tax notices from Federal, State and Local agencies
Assist Payroll Management with quarterly and yearly audits performed by outside audit firms
Qualifications

3+ years payroll experience using ADP software.
General computer knowledge, ADP Windows knowledge, Excel, Microsoft Word.
Experience in processing mid/large sized payrolls (> 500 ee s) in multiple states
Working Conditions: Very Busy office environment. Must work with a sense of urgency
The ability to multi task is essential
Must possess excellent customer service, follow up and organizational skills
Ability to be a team player in a fast-paced environment
Education
AS in accounting/equivalent experience a plus
Experience
3+ years payroll experience using ADP software
